An art meets technology event debuts in Hong Kong on 27 June 2015

 

Hong Kong, 26 June 2015 – UC RUSAL (SEHK: 486, Euronext: RUSAL/RUAL, Moscow Exchange: RUAL/RUALR), as part of its ongoing mission to build an enduring friendship with and cultural bridge to the people of Hong Kong, brings fifteen masterpieces from the State Tretyakov Gallery to Hong Kong. For the very first time the paintings from Russia’s major state museum will be presented “alive” at “Digital Dreams of Russia”, a visual art exhibition. The exhibition of Russian fine art will be held from 27 June5 July 2015 in The Qube, PMQ in Central. The exhibition will be open to the general public free of charge.

Fifteen of the most revered masterpieces from the 19th and 20th century have been thoughtfully selected for the “Digital Dreams of Russia” according to the themes of Nature, Countryside Labour, Industry Megapolis and Myths to represent various aspects of Russian life throughout the ages and will be showcased through cutting edge multimedia audio-visual animation and sound specifically created for this exhibition. The exhibition tells a story of Russia and its diverse nature and people, its long and rich history and traditions, its economic development, and fascinating mythology.
